Dust 2 – or better known as de_dust2 by classic Counter-Strike players – is probably one of the most played multiplayer maps in gaming history. This virtual location first greeted the world in 2001 through the Counter-Strike version 1.1 game, and is still often played on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Soon, Dust 2 will instead visit Fortnite. The picture above is the appearance of the legendary map in Fortnite, while the image below is the appearance in CS: GO. As we can see, the appearance is very similar, and the nuances of the distinctive Fortnite cartoon are only apparent from the striking green color of the trees.
Is the Evolve Team that is responsible for the existence of Dust II at Fortnite. They are a group of designers who diligently design custom maps and custom modes using the Creative Sandboxing platform for various brands and organizations.
This is certainly not the first time Dust 2 has been made for another game. You can find the replica at Far Cry 5 Arcade, and of course the Minecraft community has a myriad of versions of Dust 2. In the near future, Dust 2 can also be played in one of the most popular games today.
Dust 2 at Fortnite can later be accessed through the Battle Lab feature, which since last December enabled the battle royale mode to be applied to custom maps created at Fortnite Creative. For those who can not wait, just wait for the code for the map that will soon be released by Team Evolve via Twitter.
